Legal and Financial Information
Let’s Open a Book is a certified Article 64 Charitable Trust with registration number AABTL8509LE20216. We operate a single bank account, with ICICI, Panchsheel Park, New Delhi.
Monetary donations to Let’s Open a Book are exempt from tax under section 80G of the Income Tax Act. Tax exemption is only valid in India. For donations made via Ketto, the receipts will be send through the portal. In-kind donations are not eligible for tax exemption receipts.
